The doyenne of entertainment Patti Boulaye recently described
as “A bundle of fizz” is back with her new one-woman show
“I’m Comin Out”. In the show, Patti weaves stories of her life
and career, while comparing and contrasting it with the exciting
life of the legendary singer Diana Ross. She also sings songs
by other such greats as Etta James, Puccini, Bizet and more.
Her moving autobiography ‘The Faith of A Child’ charts her life through wealth, poverty, near death in the Biafran War, to
stardom. She was awarded an OBE for her charity work in
the UK and Africa where she built five Clinics and also a
school with Prince Harry’s charity.
Patti was the African face of Lux for 29 years and has starred
in three major films: “Bisi” said to be Africa’s biggest grossing
film, “Hussy” with Helen Mirren and “Music Machine” Britain’s answer to “Saturday Night Fever”. She’s a “Visiting Teaching
Fellow” at Middlesex University with an Honorary Doctorate
Degree for Arts and Education. Recent TVs include BBCTV
“Celebrity Master Chef”, ‘The Real Marigold Hotel’ and ITV’s
“Good Morning Britain”.
What the Critics say:
“Boulaye’s appeal lies as much in her ability to charm an
audience as it does to woo them with a sublime talent as this production proves.” – The Stage

Review
“Makes all others pale and unsatisfactory by comparison” – Cabaret Hotline
“Has the packed room hollering for more” – Lord Archer – The Spectator

talent and charisma.” – Jazz Journal

Having been wowed by Patti Boulaye in last year’s production of 'Bille and Me', I couldn’t wait to see her new one woman show, ‘Aretha & Me’.
Tonight did not disappoint. Patti is a consummate story teller, with a wicked sense of humour, who by the end of the show had every member of the audience on their feet, dancing and singing.
