The doyenne of entertainment Patti Boulaye recently described as “A bundle of fizz” is back with her new one-woman show “Here I am". Patti had spent the last year playing the iconic role of "The Bird Woman" in Sir Cameron Mackintosh and Disney's Mary Poppins Tour of the UK/Ireland.
She is now touring her new show "Here I am" which is about her life and career journey, the ups and downs, the sacrifices, the blessings, lessons, the pleasant and strange encounters, with lots of showbiz fun stories and songs from her theatre shows, films, TV appearances and some of her childhood experiences. Truly, there's no business like show business. In Patti's words: "If you can survive it, unscathed, you can survive anything and any business. The way I see it, you better have a strong spirit, unwavering faith and have a good sense of self."

Her moving autobiography ‘The Faith of A Child’ charts her life through wealth, poverty, near death in the Biafran War, to stardom. She was awarded an OBE for her charity work in the UK and Africa where she built five Healthcare Clinics and also a school with Prince Harry’s charity.

Patti was the African face of Lux for 29 years and has starred in three major films: “Bisi” said to be Africa’s biggest grossing film, “Hussy” with Helen Mirren and “Music Machine” Britain’s answer to “Saturday Night Fever”. She’s a “Visiting Teaching Fellow” at Middlesex University. She was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree for Arts and Education. Recent TVs include BBCTV “Celebrity Master Chef”, ‘The Real Marigold Hotel', ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” and a special Christmas edition
of 'Would I Lie To You" on BBC1. She was awarded the "Freedom of the City of London".

I hope my stories and songs will continue to lift the spirits and entertain my audience.
I have written, prepared and designed family friendly shows that young grandchildren can attend with their parents and grandparents. An evening that is enjoyable, familiar, interactive, full of stories, singing, laughter and dancing.
"Here I am" includes an eclectic mix of music from Etta James, Puccini, Bizet to Bessie Smith.
