For the fifth episode of “LIFE with Patti Boulaye”, I am joined by pianist, songwriter, actor and television presenter Bobby Crush. Having found fame from multiple winnings on British TV show Opportunity Knocks in 1972, he then went on to perform with the likes of Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland, Johnny Mathis and Russ Conway. Mike shares his very personal journey, including his musical beginning, drumming with his grandad at around 3 years old. Mike became the drummer and percussionist in the band Flintlock, making appearances on Blue Peter, Magpie and Top of the Pops. He became an actor in the TV series The Tomorrow People and in 1976, Holoway was given the TV Times Personality of the Year Award.
